Northern Nevada is much more mountainous than the southern portion, and offers a wide variety of different things to do and see. You’ll find the famous Lake Tahoe, which offers year round activities on the lake or in the mountains, hiking in Great Basin National Park, as well as numerous old west towns that have the charm and character you can imagine. Reno is known as the “Biggest Little City in the World”, and like Vegas in the south, offers different gaming and show opportunities.
