Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid California authorization for service as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech Specialist:
- Speech-Language Pathologist Service Credential OR
- Clinical Rehabilitative Service Credential OR
- California Speech-Language Pathology License (including the CBEST) OR
- Eligible for an SLP Waiver
- Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology or a closely related field
PREFERENCES
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology

SLPs with the following documents will get an additional percentage added to the current K-12 Salary Schedule. Proof of documentation is required. Please see below:
5% increase for SLP’s with a Preliminary CA Credential OR proof of a “Required Professional Experience” (RPE) temporary license.
8 % increase for SLP’s with a Clear CA Credential OR proof of a full current license and ASHA Card
10% increase for SLP’s with a clear CA Credential OR proof of a full and current License AND a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech-Language -Hearing Association (ASHA). Failer to maintain the CCC and ASHA will result in a return to the 8% level.
SLP’s hired on a waiver will receive the base salary
