Requirements / Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Must hold a valid California Education Specialist Credential: Mild/Mod (Mod/Severe is also acceptable). Note: Applicants will not be considered without one of these valid credentials for this long term assignment: Monday – Friday, working with 5th/6th and 7/8th grades. Time frame is start of school (August 20th) through mid December.
Prior teaching/subbing experience and charter school experience a plus.
An interview will be administered as part of the selection process.
Must upload the required documents – upload the attachment named exactly as stated (ie. Letter of Recommendation) AND complete the Target Success Teacher Sketch or you will not be considered for this position. Allow 45 minutes to complete the Teacher Sketch.

Are you an out-of-the-box thinking Substitute who likes to engage students? We are seeking a Special Education credentialed teacher to serve in an approximately 4 month position in Temecula. At Springs Charter Schools, we are serious about creating significantly better learning opportunities than are available within the traditional public school system. This position will will provide push-in and pull-out support students with IEPs.
Once the initial long term assignment is complete, you will have the opportunity to remain as a sub for this location or our other sites. Using Frontline (formerly AESOP), “Sub” assignments are assigned as they become available and vary in responsibility, location and length of assignment from one to several day(s) or a long term assignment. Although there is no guarantee of work, the more site locations you are willing to travel to, the more job opportunities and working hours may be presented. We’re looking for candidates who are flexible and if desired, may choose to travel to one or more sites to increase your sub opportunities and income as we also have sites in San Diego, San Bernardino and Orange Counties.
